Polar Bell Embroidery was started by Mary Nguyen in 1982 as a home-based business. As a single mother of three, Mary was heartfelt whenever she had to leave her three kids to a day care center. Mary’s mother was an embroidery instructor.
As a 2nd Generation embroiderer Mary left her job and used the only skills she knows to make a living in order to support her family. With one manual embroidery machine she worked on her crafts. As word got around and her work became popular she started to gain more businesses. Polar Bell today is a complete upgraded from manual embroidery to computerized embroidery, in-house digitizing, and an appliqué cutter. Eventually partnering with the Le Family in order to continue delivering high quality services. Polar Bell Embroidery has grown to be known in the local community.
Today, Polar Bell Embroidery is located at Japan Town with high-speed embroidery machines servicing individual, businesses, educational, & recreational organizations throughout Silicon Valley.
